Accepted Manual of StyleFar North Bible College requires all students to adhere to the MLA style manual for required research papers. Grade ReportsStudents can expect a grade report at the end of each term of study. The grade for a completed course is determined by the instructor by how successful the student fulfills the requirements of the course. IncompletesA student will receive a grade of Incomplete (I) if he or she has not finished the required course work in the specified time of the course. Such a mark can be made up within six weeks after the end of the term; otherwise, the grade will automatically become Not Completed (NC). Change of GradeA change of grade may be requested to the administrative office by the faculty only on one of two conditions: - A clerical error occurred in the posting of the student's grade
- A student has made up the required work within the required six-week period in order to change a grade from “I” to the grade earned.
Graduation RequirementsThe Board of Directors and the Administration of Far North Bible College require that each student meet basic attendance, academic, and financial expectations in order to qualify for graduation. A student may graduate under the requirements of the catalog current at enrollment providing the student is in continual enrollment and that graduation is within six years. The requirements for graduation is as follows: - Application must be made by the end of the second trimester in the year in which the student anticipates graduating.
- The student must have maintained minimum grade point average of 2.0 (C) to qualify for any academic degrees or diploma offered by FNBC.
- All course work must be successfully completed and financial obligations fulfilled before a student may participate in graduation.
- A student must have completed a minimum of thirty (30) credit hours or CEUs at FNBC in order to receive any degree or diploma.
- A student must pay appropriate graduation fees.
- Students must have successfully completed all student ministry requirements.
- Graduation attendance is required of all students.
