Far North Bible College is authorized by the State of Alaska to offer academic degrees. 

Far North Bible College holds applicant status with the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education, 5575 S. Semoran Blvd. Suite 26, Orlando, FL 32822, 407-207-0808. Applicant status is a pre-membership status granted to those colleges that meet the COA-ABHE Conditions of Eligibility and that possess such qualities as may provide a basis for achieving candidate status within four years.

FNBC has the following transfer of credit agreement with Global University: The Global University College Review Committee has recommended that Global University will receive up to 64 semester credits in transfer of credit into Global University's BA degree program from students of Far North Bible College. (Global University has candidate status with the North Central Regional Accreditating Associating.)

FNBC is consider an acceptable college by the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, thus graduates qualify for acceptance into the graduate program offering Masters Degrees of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary located in Springfield Missouri. (Acceptance is based on meeting the normal acceptance standards along with a letter or recommendation by FNBC.)

Additionally, Far North Bible College is recognized by the Alaska District Council of the Assemblies of God as offering courses meeting the educational ministerial credentialing requirements of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.

Qualified FNBC students are eligible to apply for the Alaska Student Loan program and the Montgomery GI Bill for veterans.
