Far North Bible College

Mission Statement

The mission of Far North Bible College is to prepare students by teaching sound biblical, academic and spiritual principles, for Spirit-filled Christian leadership and ministry to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matt. 28:19-20)

Vision Statement

The values and mission of Far North Bible College can best be expressed and achieved through the following long-term vision and goals. The goals of Far North Bible College are that upon completion of its program of studies the student will:

• Promote world evangelism through the propagation of the Gospel within Alaska and beyond.
• Be able to teach and train men and women for leadership at all levels of church life.
• Will have a hermeneutically sound and working knowledge of the Bible.
• Exhibit effective ministry, church planting and development, and missions development, nationally and internationally.
• Exhibit high standards of Christian conduct and service specific to the high standard set forth by the servant leadership example of Jesus Christ.

Far North Bible College will seek opportunities to network with other educational entities, especially those within the Alaska context, in order to accomplish the mission of the school and the mission of the church.
